The Story and Inspiration:

2020 not only challenged me, but it also almost killed me. A bad car accident left me in a coma for weeks with limited mobility when I came out of it. Life as I had known it had disappeared, along with my sense of purpose and direction. One day, while lying in the hospital after serval months, I saw my best friend’s Facebook post. The way he shared his challenges and how they often seemed insurmountable, but also shared the joy of the rewards that came from overcoming these challenges affected me with a depth I had not felt in some time. With my leg brace and limited mobility, I began to exercise. As time passed my friend continued to help me regain my sense of life, one metaphoric and literal step at a time—until one day, filled with anxiety and fear, I found the courage because of him to ride a bike—no small feat to this human. It was epic and the lessons I learned from the bike and from my friend are numerous, but the big one is what brought me to JM Vibes. I returned to what I love— effortless fashion with purpose, style, and presence because you have to do what you love so that you can live a life that you love.
